Supporting youth table tennis in our local community — naturally.

DERBY, UK — This weekend, the East Midlands Pathway Development Centre squad delivered an inspiring performance at the U11 & U13 Pathway Development Cup 2026. Across two days of competition, our young players secured two silver medals — a result that speaks volumes about their dedication, talent, and depth as a team.

It was a proud moment for everyone involved. And for us at SunSeasons, it was a beautiful reminder of why this partnership matters.

Day 1 — 30th May

The U11 boys A team set the tone early, battling through to a well-earned silver medal. What impressed us just as much was the strength behind them: our U11 boys B team finished an outstanding 4th, narrowly missing the podium — with four of the five players eligible to compete in this age category for at least another year. The U11 girls matched that energy with their own 4th place finish, playing with heart and composure throughout.

Day 2 — 31st May

The momentum carried into the second day. Our U13 boys team rose to the occasion and came away with a silver medal of their own, showing clear progress from months of hard work on the training floor. The U13 girls rounded off the weekend with a very credible 5th place finish, competing fiercely against older and more experienced teams.

Two days. Two silver medals. For what is likely the youngest PDC in the competition, that is a genuine achievement — and a sign of even brighter things to come.

When we announced our twelve-month sponsorship with the East Midlands PDC back in January, we said something simple: young athletes, like healthy bodies, are shaped by the right environment, steady habits, and room to grow. Nothing we saw this weekend changed that view — it only deepened it.

True wellness begins from within. It comes from nature. It comes from showing up every day. That is how we approach our work at SunSeasons. And that is exactly what these young players do, session after session, at Draycott Table Tennis Centre — right in our community, right on our doorstep.

We are not just proud of the medals. We are proud of the discipline, the resilience, and the quiet confidence these players are building — qualities that will serve them for life, long after the final point is played.

To every player who competed this weekend: congratulations. To the coaches and families behind the scenes: thank you. And to the squad as a whole: keep training, keep pushing, and keep that restless energy alive. We will be cheering for you — not just for the points you score, but for the people you become.
